International firmware - update from SD Card (No FlashTools) - for KOSPET Prime 2 updated 2021.06.26

Is there a BT connection between your watch and your phone? Also, is wifi trying to access location? On my android 7 watch I just press and hold over the wifi shortcut (swipe up) with wifi shut off and make sure the help apps find location even when the wifi is off isn’t ticked.

Also, when the watch reaches 100% you can leave it charging for an edditional half hour or so, then use watch until it dies, then try to turn on the watch. If it won’t turn on anymore then charge it again fully, let it pass 100% and maybe an hour longer. Do this in total of three times, then android battery checker should be pretty calibrated

Thanks for the guide and I have already installed the new firmware update/upgrade. It’s clean and smooth however, my current issue is that It seems to have lost the function of copying and pasting any files(Music and clock skins) using my desktop directly to the android watch folders easily using my charging cable. What I see now is just an empty folder. Any fix to this?

@longks22, settings > connected devices > usb > file transfer (only has to be done once)

@anon5802783, maybe it could be this for ota: settings > security > security update

Flash back to the original firmware if you want to get an OTA.

It should never overheat.
Did you factory reset the watch after flashing?
Its not a shame that they are in square mode.
They are in square mode for a very good reason.
If they were not - you would not have access to many of the settings…

I generally only use 1% per hour maximum over night…
Most of the time less.

Look like i should take pics outside now
Lol my rooms don’t have lightings that much.
About the camera i tried snapchat the camera wont rotate then filters wont open or support

I have not heard of this…
I must admit that we did not focus on the support of third party apps…
@none do you have any comments about this?

@6eats the other thing to remember is that this is a preview of the project. If it is not suitable for you it is very easy to return to the stock firmware :+1::+1:

This does not have to do any thing with the firmware it is great only thing is if i could use that app my photos could be much better then . Maybe try another app:grin::grin::wink:

I have a lot of question i just forget just dont get annoyed :hugs:

Another reboot, at about 15:14 - logcat2.txt - Google Drive

Does this happen with the default launcher as well?

I don’t know, I never use it. I’ll start using it now and see what happens.

You can easily switch between those 2 launchers without deleten UL. goto settings- apps and notifications- standard apps- start app. Choose the launcher here.

I can’t start “com.android.watchweather.Myservice” from Macrotool in FAW firmware. The service is locked. (I want to update automatically the weather. I know Universal Launcher has that feature, but UL has a few problems for me.) Can I avoid this problem?

No idea.
This is aimed at people using stock methods.
I think you are trying to achieve something that the stock launcher can’t do.
@Eric_Crochemore might have some advice?
This design is the same as the Prime 2 FAW version…

doing this will not in anyway change my sim card i.e i wont lose my contacts stored on my sim
???

No. But you can remove your SIM card before flashing, if you like…

I am sure i am not the only one who doesnt know what TWRP and OTA stand for . Please tell me and what does “flashing” mean . Remember there is no such thing as a stupid question just stupid people !
Dont use letters to represent words . We are not all totally computer savvy. please .
I love my prime 2 and want it as efficient as possible but i must understand what i am doing.
It took me ages to work out FAW means full android watch …

OTA" means “over the air”. This means that an update is transmitted directly to your watch via mobile data or wireless lan. In this case you only have to confirm the installation on the watch. If an update is not made available “OTA”, it can also be installed manually. A Windows PC is required for this. This process is called flashing.
And TWRP is not relevant to you at the moment. I would like to clarify this later.

I would think that even most of the people who know what TWRP is, don’t know what it actually stands for, but I can tell you that it stands for “team win recovery project”. It is the most known custom recovery, with the biggest competitor being CWM (clockwork mod). But as G1N says it’s not relevant to you at the moment. TWRP is not something you would normally manage to flash by accident, so there’s no need to worry about that happening
