It’s competition time again :slight_smile:

This time we have an amazing prize to offer to the two lucky winners:
A Kospet HOPE 3GB/32GB watch will be supplied to each of the winners by express postage from KOSPET directly.
Postage will not be by DHL as they can charge a lot of import tax!!

To keep this simple and quick we only require one watch face from each contestant to win.
You can submit more than one if you want - but ultimately the 2 best faces (from separate contestants) will be the winners.
There are links below to various tools for creating watch faces to help you with your work.
The designs have to be ORIGINAL works and have the Christmas/holiday theme.
No designs based on brands (Rolex, TAG, Seiko for example) will be accepted.

Your submissions must be emailed to rascmoderators@gmail.com by 18th December 2018, midnight, New York time zone. Yes - it is a short time and so only one face is required.
Email the link to the completed face but do not publish it publicly. The winning faces will be used by Kospet and the design needs to include a letter K or the name Kospet.
Please put the words HOPE COMPETITION in the email subject before you send it in.

No BRAND copies at all will be allowed.
ONLY original works accepted.
NO WATCH MAKER faces will be accepted - obviously - as this is not a Wear OS watch and the winning faces will be used on FULL ANDROID WATCHES.
The COMPLETE face must be available in the link you send in your email or it will be discarded.
So don’t just submit an image file.
The winning two faces will become the property of Kospet and will be used in the stock launcher.
So the faces have to be compatible with stock launcher.
This competition is open to anyone who wants to try for it.

It seems to be unclear for a lot of competitors, so i will clarify :

  • it’s a competition to win an Android watch, so watchmaker skins are not allowed.
  • clockskin format is expected, so that the winning faces could work on the Hope watch.
  • we don’t need the WFD source code but the final clockskin format.

I think I’m going to jump on the bandwagon and submit one or 5. Are we allowed to post a gif to get feedback or will it be a surprise once they are picked? I wish I didn’t post my fireplace one now. :frowning:

just have one question…can i use images from google or want me to use my original photos and images? cause u know KOSPET wants to use it in stock launcher. thats why i ask

@Andrej_zacker_Fulop you can use images from anywhere as long as they are not copyright protected.

@Andrej_zacker_Fulop I guess you’ll have to check if the site hosting the image explicitly tells that they are royalty free, free for commercial use or public domain. If it is not explicit, then assume they are copyrighted and kospet will not be able to use them…
