FAW Beta Firmware Project

After all that, you did not post a single message about your experiences with the beta testing.
So I have removed you from the group.
Sorry, but there is no point in joining if you are not providing any feedback.

I have a question.
I’m using Appllp 4 with ver 1.3B4.
Little Buggy. but, Everything Ok.
But, Uh, am I just using this rom as usual?
or downgrade to stock for future?

PS : Don’t worry. I does not have that rom.

That particular beta is really buggy.
It was in a transitional phase.
I am not sure I understand why you are using it? But whatever…

When the firmware is stable it will be released. It is at v1.3B6 at the moment and it is getting much closer to release.

Until then you are better off using stock firmware to be honest.

It uses because it has no other option, like many of us, the stock firmware has many limitations, e.g. you cannot add a sim card access point, so the internet does not work.
I skip the fact that you removed all links to the beta version and we are left with bugged firmware that somehow works but no chance to improve

I updated it with no doubt.
because you are always trying best to provide a good solution, and for reporting bug what I found.
Ok. I will revert to stock as you said.
Don’t worry. I know how to use mtktools.

Good. After being quite busy lately I have tried beta 1.3-b6 and it is good to know that the step counting thing is now quite correct. The only thing that I find so far is the battery charging time that is still too much and that continues to work better when connecting to laptop usb than to a charger

excellent I think it is on the right track towards a stable version

unfortunately I do not yet have the permissions to have the beta, but in what sense does the charging times? are they superior to stock firmware? I’m also curious to know if turning on the display with the tap consumes a lot of battery? Thanks, I can’t wait to try it out and bring my feedback

Not our fault.
We didn’t turn it into a circus and disaster.
I was gutted when we had to make it private.
But that’s the way it is.

yes. Not your fault. Not your wrong decision.
If you does not turn into private, It would make a big disaster.
Open Beta could get more feedbacks.
But, Managing Project would be harder.

Hi everyone,
i am a basic member, but i would need the faw beta firmware for my optimus 2 as i use the smartwatch also for work
the original firmware is buggy and a lot of things like gcalendar and more don’t work, i agree with the member policy but how can i become a level 2 member if i don’t have a chance to get the firmware, thanks

This is not how it works. This is a testing process for development.
Not suitable for everyday use.
Be patient … A lot of people have been waiting for the release for 4-5 months.
Everyone gets it at the same time.

Hello There, Does any updates on FAW Beta Firmware ?

I would love to try it. Right now my Lem12 Pro is just lying in the cupboard. It had hoped for a chance to try the FAW and maybe get to use the watch. I think it’s useless with the stock firmware.
