Custom Kernel for MT6739 Smartwatches

@none

Dear Sir
Good evening
I need your your support

I have Rollme S08 Smart watch

If I wear it in the right arm and twist to check the time it works perfect!!
But in the left arm ( opposite direction) not working.

It seems that the sensor settings read in opposite way. I tried and it works on that way.
Is there is a way to recompile the kernel file to control the Sensor reading to redirect the sensor reading
Thanks
Br
Emad

Here is the dmesg for the LEMT firmware 2.0. This firmware doesnt heat up as the ticwris, but there seem to be a lot of gliches in the ticwris firmware in general. Somethings are done right in the TicWris Max firmware and vice versa with the LEMT. dmesg

Any news/kernel for mt6762 (Lem12 pro) ?

Sadly the stock kernel is not going to help much really.
However, after the next firmware release we might be able to do something about it :+1:

Hello all, I need some guidance on how to build my own LEM 12 OS. The base that ships with it has a lot of issues and bugs for my use, and I need to fix it. LEMFO is refusing to fix it… I was able to get the source code from OpenWatchProject/android_kernel_mediatek_mt6739 and OpenWatchProject/android_device_wiite_c7s but I was not able to make much more progress than that. Any help or advise will be much appreciated!

Personally, I suspect that not many developers are concerned with Android 7.1 devices anymore. I know that for Android 10 devices developing is running in the background. The open watch team is still working on 7.1 devices, but you already know this.

I believe there is an Android 10 build available. I just can’t figure out how to compile it.

Well I don’t know much about it. But maybe @iscle can report some news about.

@Karmel, if I remember correctly, I have relied mostly on this guide: [GUIDE][2018]All you need to know to build Android from scratch! | XDA Forums and I’ve also read this one: [GUIDE][COMPLETE] Android ROM Development From Source To End | XDA Forums
you’ll also find a lot of information on https://source.android.com/

yep, it looks like the device tree you found is indeed for AOSP 10, another question is if it is working yet

Just curious for kernel source changes…

If you want to build just the kernel why not try to follow the instructions in the README. You could also take a look at the links I gave to Karmel

No, I haven’t.

Thats a shame

As a matter of fact. However, I have a large collection of fine wines in the catacombs under my house. However, annoyingly, that’s not what he was asking for…
