I've done a version that shows the indicator values when you touch the signal bars, if you can report the values you see, maybe i will understand what goes wrong :

set at S99, everything works, all signals are active when the blue, not active-serye.Spasibo.

Evening Eric and thanks for your efforts , much appreciated . Something you may want to know when running 1.1.6 on IQI I3 . The facility to press " recent task "and close all running apps has gone ? There are usually 5 buttons when pressing power button :-

Reboot
Power off
Power save
Recent task ( dissapears on launcher )
App size shrinker / increaser

 Just on a side note, if you force stop the original launcher app in the background, notification stops even when your launcher is running, almost like you need some part of the old launcher to still be running in the background with you Universal launcher to keep the notifications working. That’s why I set the default launcher to start as default and then switch to your Universal one as the default after a reboot and it works until the next reboot reboot. When you reboot, only your launcher is active and then we get the same issue that no notifications comes in, the watch turns on and shows the clockface but no notification. Then you have to restart the old launcher, set it as default and restart that whole process of switching it back tho the Universal launcher. So there is something there for sure.

 Mine works fine, I have the “Recent Task” button. No issue on my side.

You can already set your preferred go first by long pressing their icon. I will not do more than that for now…

Great news ! Sure that shows that our watches do not work as they should and we have to make tricks to have them work. Concerning notification, i normally don't have any link with the original launcher, but if you say so...Maybe something is happening. Thanks for your help.

Don't really know what is best, you can try to uninstall old version to have something clean, then install this new one as default and reboot to see if things go better.

 OK I tested it and I have the same results. Notifications only turn the watch-face on but no notification. I have to set the default launcher up as default to startup and then switch to your launcher as the default after. Then it is OK until the next reboot. Then when I reboot I need to remove yours as the default and put back the stock launcher as default and then notifications work again. Then I switch to your launcher as default and it stays like that until the next reboot,

Hi ricktop! first of all: congrats again for your outstanding work.

I installed the apk shared to buddyrm (this link: drive.google.com/open?id=0B6GWpu3oqY71VENQX242RlFnNGs).

What I noticed:

  1. It works on S99 and KW88 like a charm.

  2. sounds are gone (I dont know if are disabled because it is a feature of your work). I go to settings --> sound and find that Media volume is at 0, alarm is at max, and ring volume is at 0. I move the slide bar to the max level and nothing sounds. Double checked the Silent mode button at top->right menu section and it is set to Vibrate Mode (not in Silence Mode). Maybe sounds are not useful and drains the battery but in some cases I would like that watch rings or warn me abut notifications with sounds (specially when I’m sleeping).

  3. Battery Drain happens faster in Kw88 than S99 watch. I dont know if it happens because I upgraded kw88 firmware to the latest version (build # KW88_CS1_B_GSM_PHT_20170112 / Kernel 3.10.72 thu jan 12 01:17:36 CST 2017).

  4. Everytime I restart or power on the watch, it ask which will be the default launcher. Even I select yours and touch Always, it keeps asking me that.

  5. Sometimes the hand bright screen feature doesnt work. I mean: sometimes I rise my hand and look the watch and it brights with the click fac I selected, Sometimes dont.

I also upgraded through OTA my KW88 to the latest firmware KW88_CS1_B_GSM_PHT_20170112 and I figured out the following regarding battery. Using your launcher without enabling your “hand movement gesture” notifications work fine and battery lasts around 2-3 days. Enabling the default “hand movement gesture” through default settings (not yours gesture) battery is again fantastic and lasts more than 2 days. Disabling default “hand gesture” and enabling your “hand gesture” the battery lasts less than 1 day. The difference there (I think) is the usage of screen. In the case of default “hand movement gesture” the default face (this digital one) comes up but immediately after 3 seconds goes sleep again. This helps the battery a lot. In your “hand movement gesture” the watch wakes up with the selected face (this is fantastic) but the screen goes off after the display period of timeout set in settings which the minimum value is 15 seconds. This means that the battery uses 3 times the battery of the default “hand gesture”. Is it possible for you to make your launcher to set the display timeout lets say to 3 seconds, or 5 seconds? This will be fantastic.

I tried some apps from google play that they claim that they are changing the display timeout but unfortunately the minimum setting that I could change to is 10 seconds.
