Yeah…for smartwatches makes no difference in performance:)
you need to flash the w618 firmware the same exact way. the same happened to me.
I also accidentally flashed the w616 on a w618 X5+ and now its dead.
Luckily I downloaded the “w618_wgl.x5plus_ddr3.common.80.emmc.w.s.170111.flash” some time ago. But unfortunately I get the “Obtain DRAM failed” message in the SP Flash tool.
The watch itself shows nothing, holding power and back gives the “sea noise” as long as holding them, but nothing on screen.
How did you reflashed?
(By the way, when I try to flash the wrong w616, I get a “Enable DRAM failed”?)
I have the same issue, sadly (flashed w616 onto a w618 not knowing there were two different versions). Have tried for two days to get this watch back. Loaded the PRE-loader driver, the DA USB driver. Battery plugged in, battery unplugged, different version of SPtools, different MTK VA COM drovers - NOTHING!! Looked on mobo for the coco/CLOKO pin to solder to ground - cant find one. dont wanna rip it apart either. Stupid Smart Watch - all I get now is a 4032 error or 0XFC0 Error. SPTools will only get me a Red bar at bottom and thats it. Doesnt recognize chipset. Nothing. Used the stock crappy usb cable, 1M and 6" anker cables. NOTHING!
I’m not a noob to flashing - been flashing android boxes for few years now. This one is truly being a…butt.
Pls help
(Forgot to mention - purchased a finow x5+ just a few days ago. The stock rom was something dated 201512xx - anyone have this one?)
The problem is that the “firmware disaster” happened in this forum and now nothing is available.
I realized now, that my fault was to overwrite the preloader with w616.

Try to push power (big middle) and lower button for abaout 15 sec.
(whitout connection)
then if it dows nothing connect it back to the PC and see if its get recognized (“bing” new hardware sound).
I had this problem aswell and the scatter file is a little different and now it works!
Try to flash with “format+download” again.
an use this firmware :
I know this is a long shot but i bricked my X5 Air last night and spent hours trying to get back on ( screen was locked with Finow logo ) . This is what worked :-
Hold bottom button then hold middle button at same time . Let go of middle button when menu appears . Then let go off bottom button
In menu there is a section saying " Clear … " . Clear this then reboot from menu .
I then left watch for about twenty minutes and it factory reset and came back on ? No idea how …
Hope it works
Thanks

This saved mine as well! I was trying to go back to stock and get root properly (after using a one-click solution) but I was unaware of the different X5+ models and borked it.

when you did the update was the battery full? if not charge it to 100% and try again if does'nt work try to disconnect the battery and reconnect it and if still you are having problems then....you need to falsh the watch and do'nt do the update.
