You get the OTA only if you need to update your chipset firmware, otherwise you’re fine
You may want to update manually If you have any other issues with your watch, but if this is not the case I would ignore the update.
If it works, then don’t touch it…
I strongly suggest that you do need clothes 
Seriously though, are you having problems with your firmware version?

many times when the watch was fully charged in economy mode and i took it off the charger, the charging screen remains and i had to restart the watch.
the step counter always shows the complete step total and not the daily steps, but maybe that’s intentional…
and weak gps, but whether something has improved with the update…
First things first, have you ever made a factory reset of your watch to see if things improve?
If it is still a problem after that, then you can flash v1.5 or take the OTA to v1.6.
Just be aware that you need to understand what you are doing if you are going to flash the firmware.
If you take the OTA to v1.6 you MUST make a factory reset and you will be unable to flash any other version below 1.6 after this.
That’s not a bad thing, as the watch will work fine after the update.
But, make sure you factory reset the watch and test before doing anything else.
Because it might be fine.

V1.4 is very old now 
I buyed my watch middle of last year from banggood.
I use it mostly in economic mode and I was busy last months and I was not looking for any update…
My watch says that my firmware is up to date…
maybe I have to flash v1.5 first and then the OTA will appear?
So, have you reset it now?

Do you have experience in flashing firmware?
By the way, have you gone to the settings and system updates and manually checked for the OTA?
You need wifi enabled to check preferably not Sim card.
I have experience in flashing. I don’t wait for automatic system updates, but check manually OTA…

I have a Lemfo Lem 16 who is the same watch and got the new uptade (1.6 ) months ago without wifi, only with sim card connection. May be it’s because you have a Appllp 4 Pro or it’s a question of region where you are…
It’s got to be region because they both have v1.6 OTA.
@hans007 please click on the link at the top of the thread for v1.6 and I’ll give you access.
As you have experience of flashing, you should be fine.
Just don’t forget the back button process when you connect the watch.

Hi, because I am directly interested for the purchase of LOKMAT APPLLP 4 PRO, I want to buy it mainly for running and music, to play during training, I want to ask something very basic
- by inserting a SIM card and using data, can I install an official and full radio application (eg tunein) and have it work without having my mobile? If yes can training mode and music/radio mode work’s both?
- I imagine that if I connect bluetooth headphones I will be able to listen radio or music, right?
- does nfc generally work for payments with NFC ? (I live in Greece)

There isn’t any fullandroid watch with NFC.

These watches are a risk as running watches. Moisture / humidity can be a problem.
For me the Ticris Max S gave the best results running but its not everyones taste

You shouldn’t jump to conclusions. I’m currently testing an NFC payment option that should work for most full Android watches. I have almost completed my testing and will publish a detailed report very soon.
