I had some issues with my watch - it wasn’t charging, tried with 2 charging docks and multiple chargers. It was also not switching on - just hanging on the smartwatch splash screen (presumably due to lack of charge).
Cutting to the chase, I eventually did the following which seems to have fixed the issues.
- unscrewed the back - noticed that some screws were slightly loose
- disconnected the battery lead, waited 10 minutes, then connected again
- replaced the back and tightened screws
- charged, then did a factory reset (recovery mode by pressing middle and bottom button, then select “eMMC reset”)
Watch is now working fine.
Just sharing in case this helps somebody in the future.
