Since my X5+ somedays massively drains battery (because it never goes into deep sleep mode), i installed the ADB tools to dump the batterystats and wake lock information.
However, i am not an android expert, so i wonder if anybody got a direct contact to finow developer team so i can share/discuss the results with them.
If you want to try it yourself, here are the steps:
1.) Download and install “SDK Platformtools for Windows”
Here is the list of wakelocks which i dumped using ADB when my watch was running approx. 40 minutes in the battery draining and never going to deep-sleep situation.
In comparison, a dump where my watch ran over 24h with same settings, the “mmc1_detect” and especially the “battery suspend walelock” process ran by faaar less long.
Could that be a hint?
For the last two days I am also facing battery drain problems. I noticed that it is held awake all the time ( battery drain to 0% in max 5 hours with screen on only few minutes). Held awake time is almost the same as time used ( disconnected from charger).
There was no firmware update in this few days so maybe some app update is causing this because before i had no problems. I am on the latest firmware

Welcome to the club!
Are you also using Google services?
By the way… my X5+ had a good run today and gave me 32 hours of operation with 96% in deep sleep.
(Setup, usage, location, app versions etc. all the same as yesterday when it had the battery draining / no deep sleep / wake lock issue)
That said, my Finow X5+ offers me the following two emotions:
A:
The watch works as axpected and gives me over 24 hours operation with mostly deep sleep mode.
or B:
The watch is empty at noon since it never enters deep sleep from the moment i disconnect it from the charger at 7 AM.
The only reason why I have not scrapped the watch yet is, that hope dies last… but it dies!
Would be helpful if you could do a batterystat and bugreport dump using ADB tools aswell for comparison. (really easy… see my posts before)
I just did a factory reset to see if it solves the issue. But then again I also did factory reset 10 days ago when I updateded firmware. I don’t mean to do this every week. If problem comes back I will do batterystat dump.

I think I can now reproduce the battery drain issue.
People who face the same problem are welcome to report if they can reproduce the following:
My watch settings:
Cellular ON
Wifi OFF
GPS OFF
BT OFF
Google Services running
Szenario 1:
-) Power off watch
-) Connect to charger dock and let charge (usually over night, but not time dependent?)
-) Disconnect from charger and AFTERWARDS power it on
-) Wait for a minute
-) Chech if watch was in deep sleep for several seconds
–> Following the above steps my watch always entered deep sleep mode so… READY TO GO, WATCH IS FINE!
Szenario 2:
-) Do NOT power off watch
-) Connect to charger dock and let charge (usually over night, but not time dependent?)
-) Disconnect from charger
-) Wait for a minute
-) Chech if watch was in deep sleep for several seconds (most likely a wakelock is keeping watch from going to deep sleep)
–> Following the above steps my watch seldomly entered deep sleep mode so… WATCH WILL NOT ENTER DEEP SLEEP AND WILL BE EMPTY AFTER 4…5 HOURS!
–> What you can do now is reboot the watch and everything is fine again!
By the way… I am using “CPU Spy Rebourn” to check the seconds the watch was in deep sleep mode.
So… as far as i see by now, the problem is somehow related to charging.
pablo11: Can you please keep Finow informed about the findings so they can maybe fix this issue and make us happy again? (ouch! CNY)
I think it is more likely to be the ios notification service. It’s a Bluetooth service which is ALWAYS on. Even with Bluetooth off.
Problem is that it requires root access to disable.
I’m going to discuss this with Finow next week.
Im faced with battery drain. One month ago have silimar problem with battery drain with Floating Toucher. After uninstalled - problem was gone.
And now, 20% battery drain per hour. After unistalled Whatsapp - problem was gone. So, problem with battery drain in chinese smartwatches resides somwhere inside hacked Android environment. I think that the system is castrated from part responsible for handling something as errors, wakelocks and this is the cause of all problems.
I think so too.
Obviously battery draining apps are something everybody can detect and handle, but there seem to be unsolvable issues with the adapeded android operating system.
Any evolution concerning this battery draining problem? My X5+ is hardly staying alive more than 5h. Ok, I have installed two Google apps (youtube and maps) but I don’t use them at all, nor even wifi, BT or data.
In fact I only use my watch to check what time it is…fice times a day! So I can’t say I’m using it a lot…
I have installed Hibernation Manager to solve the problem and CPU Spy to check if there is any improvment but I am at 1001Mhz 96% of time, 604Mhz 1% of time and 1300Mhz 1% of time. The Deep sleep mode is not even activated!!
Well it seems that 71% of the battery life is pumped by “Phone Idle”, 10% by Screen, 9% by Android system, 7% by Android OS, 1% Quick Ball and 1% by Mobile standby.
Is this usual?
