X5 plus - Anyone managed to sync a google calender

Dear Community,

Has anyone tried or managed to sync. a google calender on the watch. I tried to disable the (nearly useless) onboard calender app and installed google calender from the play store, but it is stopped with an exeption immediately  after start (no matter if square or cirular mode).
So it tried an other calender app: acalender - it workes, but only for local calenders - I did not manage to sync. with a google calender …

disable the stock calendar and install any other one the google calendar did’nt work for me but i never liked it i always use this one sync perfectly and works just fine with Mr. Float widgets.

I already did, what you suggest (already installed “aCalender” App), but the problem is, that it does not show me the calender of my google account, only a “PC-Sync” calender (this is obviously a “local” calender DB of the watch)

So thats why I tried to install google calender app (thought that maybe would also add / setup the calender sync provider) - but the google calender app does not start …

Maybe I’ve got some issues with my google account itself ?

remove the mark from pc and you’ll get your calendar from the phone to your watch but not all settings appear on the watch so if you use the same calendar on your phone then set it from there and you’ll see it on your watch.

Problem solved for me

I had a problem with my google account - had to remove it from the watch and add it again.
Afterwards the google account had no entry for “calender sync”. After starting the google calender one time (although the app stopped immediately after starting) - the missing entry was within the google account.
Afterwards I uninstalled the google calender app.

aCalender now shows my google calender and the calender is automatically sync if the watch is online.

A tricky point for me was to remove the google account - because on my x5 plus the “remove” - menuitem only appears after pressing the “android menu” - key which is not possible by default.
So I used the App “MyPhoneExplorer” and it’s PC companion programm to remote control the watch and pressed the menu button there …

finally it works now - thank you for your help !

Hi Sonia, i install acalendar app, but i have problem when adding a new event. After fill the title, description, reminder etc, i need to touch/click the “V” button at the top right of screen. but its not appear, hiding because our round display. I using No. 1 D5.

you'll have to use Mobizen to reach these corners, also you need to install google calendar to make aCalendar works.
