Hy there, im a new Owner of an X5 Air, and before i start modding my Firmware and Stuff I’m trying to do a Backup of the Stock Firmware.
I tryed it with SP-Flashtool in combination with the MTK DRoid tools but its not working (guess the chip is not supported by MTK Droid Toolbox).
Does any one of you alreda acomplished that or any advice what i should try next?.
ANd Where can i get a new charging/USB Board?
Mine is not working anymore because there was a short between + and - and the pogo-ping got so hot that they meltet out of position…
Now im building my own one with 3d Printet base and Stuff (will share the files eventually).

Yeah i know but i don’t wanna wait 20 days or more to get back on working on the device, so I’ll build my own.

You cannot get a full readback - backup of these watches with droid tools.
That is why we have a full flash stock firmware.
Unless you use cracked software on the internet or flash TWRP - you cannot take a backup.
Do you ahve a how to to backup with Droid Tools. Because It’s not working how it should.
MAybe I’m doing something wrong.
And where can i find the Stock firmware for “X5 AIR”?
And may i use the TWRP 302 for the X5+ or which one?
Maybe the RAM is changed. You should search for the w616, w618 etc sticker in the inner.
Not sure if that’s the kind of backup you are after but you can enable USB debugging in developer settings and than use ‘adb backup’ . It’s a command line tool but I think there are some gui frontends to it too

yes its a W618 and i know that it is possible to do a backup. someone in a russian forum already did and its downloadable. but unfortunately the forum is parly broken so i cant find it anymore…
