Which is the best Android application to hide-show the virtual keyboard in a full Android smartwatch?

That is useful to prevent the virtual keyboard overlapping and hidding essential areas of the small smartwatch screen, like the ones to enter login credentials (username and password) in web pages, etc.

I install Gboard then set it up for “floating”

Thanks, but how to set that? I cannot find it in Settings - System - Languages & input - Keyboard & inputs - Virual keyboard - Gboard - Settings.

You have to set your gboard as your keyboard and input in the watches settings. Then when you open something that needs a keyboard gboard should show up. pick the icon in the upper left of gboard then select floating.

setting>system>languages and input>virtual keyboards> (gboard should be an option) Then manage keyboards and select gboard as the input.

If you install gboard then launch it the gboard app will take you to both places.

Thanks, albeit I could not find how to use it there (that was my problem; I had it, yet I did not know that I had it and did not know how to use it). Finally I have found how to use it here:
