root or no root flashing the stock FW will delete any root you have and it will fix any problem you had with the HR or any other sensor.
***checked works fine:) there is twrp for this watch after that you can use supersu to root the device with no problem:)
I have firmware w612_X3 + _160927 installed and it works correctly, but when installing TWRP after the heart rate app does not work.
Does HR work with TWRP installed?

if i'm not mistaken the issue was fixed but better to ask on the developer thread:)
