What is the best run tracking app?

Hi :raised_hand:
Could you please recommend some walk/run tracking app for pure android watch? (I use Zeblaz thor 4)

Are there any run track app that work with offline internet but gps? (I didn’t usually connet to internet all the times.)

for small fee: Ghostracer and Gliderun
Free: Strava, Google Fit.

I have all 4 on my watch (Thor Pro).

Heartontop needs to be installed and upgraded cheap to pro version foe Google fit sync on all apps except gliderun. Google fit merges HR data and GPS data later.

Which one can track with offline gps? I want it to track route map not just by step count. Or none of them can do?

You can use all of them offline. If you want to run against yourself, then ghost and strava are the best. Gliderun good too. Of course you can preload map into watch before you leave the house and of course they all have GPS offline support. All sports apps have this.

Remember if you can’t zoom out from maps, because of no pinch support, you can double tap into the screen and drag the finger up or down to emulate pinch.

be prepared to do a lot of view switching (full and fit to screen) to access all buttons.

Hi mrdenden, thanks for your info’s that have been precious to me. Effectively Gliderun monitors the heartrate installed on my Lem8. Unfortunately I have a iPhone 7 and Gliderun does not work on iOS.
I have also installed Strava that works perfectly but it does not monitor the heart and I don’t know if I have to upgrade Strava to Summit version.
Do you know if Summit works on heart rate montoring using the sensor of the smartwatch? Thank you

famavi

most likely not, does HeartOnTop exist on the apps store? if so it can be used with google fit.

ok, thanks. I will try it and keep you informed.

Installed…on sunday morning I will go running and I will inform you how it works in conjuction with Strava…

Gliderun can export sessions to Google Fit directly, (not applicable on iOS?) and strava (GPS+Metrics+Heart Rate) using "FitnessSyncer" app. It works most of the time for me. Good thing about Strava is that it can show others running same segments and you can race against their pace or your own efforts.

Strava works well too but to sync to google fit Heartrate data I suggest you use heartontop (as Sophie already said)  and pay 1 euro to unlock google fit sync. (again, if you use iOS, maybe google fit ain’t for you).

Only two apps I have had working heartrate real time monitoring while running has been gliderun (reads all the sensors of my Thor pro) and heartontop that functions while you use some other sports app at the same time and even with the screen off.

I use Gliderun to Google Fit & Fitnessyncer to Strava. This way I can check heart rate zones and for every second (on google fit) and the strava pace achievements.  This happens to be least expensive too. I only use the free strava.

Hi Mrdenden, I made my first run using Google Fit and HeartonTop (paid to Google Play). At the end I saved both the registrations and I hoped to see them directly on Strava because I had set the connections with it in both the applications. It is not true! I had to register to Fitnessyncer to sync the workput and it worked but without the GPS (no maps !). I was not able to understand how to pay the 1 euro to unlock Google Fit but keep in mind that, even if it is not available on iOS, I can access the Google applications via web.
Anyway I will install again Gliderun to benefit of the direct export to Google Fit, even if I would prefer to have the data on Strava that is available on iOS.
I thank you again for the suggestins and I wish you and the whole team HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
Keep in touch !!

Strava is good enough

For me 100% runmeter . Just done a 10k run with thor pro no SIM. Very accurate. I’ve tried them all on lots of watches and this is the best .
Also used this app on -

Lem x
Lem7

Strava doesn't read the HR data from watch. Better to sync to strava using fitnessSync from gliderun. Heartontop works with strava  but only gives an average HR value, not constant monitoring throughout the workout.

Dear Everybody.
I am completely new to this topic. I would like to ask for help.
I have a Kospet Hope 3/32 Gb watch.

My goals:

  • Recording sports activities, data analysis.
  • Pulse Measurement, data analysis.
  • plus: it would be good) Measuring sleep, data analysis.

What do I install on the watch?
What do I install on my phone?

I’m sure, I spoil something.
I’ve tried a lot of things. (apps) Now, I would be testing FunDo Pro. The app can’t find my watch.

Thank you for all ideas.
