First, thank for this great tool.
Makes life a lot easier ;-)
I have one question / problem.
I’m working on a face with a 24 hour in stead of a 12 hour scale.
I used the HOUR_24 tag and the preview looks ok, but when i install the face the hand dus not show at all.
Is this a known bug or am i doing something wrong.
All other hands seem to work just right
Bert
I have not seen this bug before. But, in reality, I haven't messed with 24h yet, so it is not well tested. Can you send me the .xml file with the failing hand so I can see what's happening? Also, what is your watch?
It’s a KW88 and i will post the .xml file tonight when i’m at home.

Have you tried to use Eric's launcher? I don't have one android phone yet, but I believe I heard something about KW88 having some compatibility problems... Maybe that's one of them. Anyway, Eric's Universal launcher takes care of that compatibility problems, and adds .watch file support, so it's a win-win situation

Yes this feature is not implemented yet on KW88.

Works a treat Marco !!!! Thanks again !!!
Ps - Just sent a donation as promised ( victoriatobin )
Just one last question . When i have saved a complete clockskin in folder on my desktop , how do i get the full file back into app ? Is it possible to put the full file back into software to edit ?
Thankyou
Thanks for your donation. Your name will be included on the about box of the next WatchFace Designer releases.
When you complete a design you can save it (menu File->save), and you can export it to ClockSkin (File->Export as ClockSkin). The first option saves just a file that you can later re-open (File->Open) to do further edits. The second option (the export) is not designed to allow you to easily edit it later, as it looses information not required (nor accepted) by the watch. However, if you did not save the design or lost it, you can still use the menu option File->Import ClockSkin (available on the latest versions) and select the folder with your clockskin, and you’ll be able to edit it. Note, however, that if you are using the exported version, everything is converted to images, so you may loose flexibility on the changes you want to make.
Resuming, always save your work so you can continue it later. Use only the “Import ClockSkin” as last resource.
Evening Marco . Getting better with this each week thankyou . Everything i have set out to do i have done well but one thing . I would love to add moving objects in my watchfaces . I appreciate rotating objects is easy but i would like to do more . Any ideas / hacks like you showed me before ?
Thankyou again

Thanks for letting me know.
The .xml looks like this anyway.

Not a big issue, i was just playing with the idea of making a 24h watchface with one hand.
Hopefully this is fixed in a future version.
Keep up the good work

Sorry, but besides using rotation and changing images with “DigitalClock”, I don’t know any other trick. Maybe you could simulate an image moving by using a (very) large image rotating. However, for the movement to appear linear, the image size would be a quite large and almost empty image with only the “moving object” on an extremity of it. That image would also have to be as off-centered as possible, so that the only visible part was, again, only the outer extremity… But that will never look perfect, maybe just close enough.
Thanks for getting back to me . I will try
Thankyou

Sim, português é a minha lingua nativa
paypal.me/mpmf. A próxima versão, que vou publicar dentro de minutos, vai permitir criar ponteiros de relógio um pouco mais facilmente (espero eu)
For the rest of the community, sorry for the Portuguese text. It was just a question regarding where to find watch parts, and I recommended watchawear.
WatchFace Designer v0.7.0 is released
This time I had no 0.0.x versions, and jumped straight to 0.7.0 from 0.6.0. That’s because this is not a bug fix release, but new functionality is added, of which the most important is Hand Layers. Hand Layers allow the user to create vertically symmetric shapes composed by either straight or curved segments. And that’s how the majority of watch hands are made, hence the name.
So, the complete release log. What’s new on 0.7?
- Added Preview with user-selected date/time
- Added Preview Export with user-selected date/time
- Added new Layer type: Hand Layer:
Useful to create vertically symmetric shapes, as regularly used by watch hands
- Added warning when opening watchface .xml with missing fonts
As always, the updated download link is in the first post, and here: goo.gl/BkUuS4
Here is also a video showing the new functionalities of this version:
mpmf, thanks for the reply, and thanks for the watch parts information.
I have send a donation, hope you get the smart watch soon. Keep on going with your great work.
regards (abraço)
sorry, it was just because my English is not that god, it was jus a appreciation message for his great work.

Those are not applications. They are just library files that WatchFace Designer uses.
