I m looking at the watches from Vwar, but I m a bit confused about all different versions, there are like 3 versions of S9 Ultra which seem to be the same. Anyhow, since I want a squarish watch with camera, this seems to be the best option for it. Just wanted some advice if someone already has one or which version would be the best, are there any differences in the screen size as I would like the largest one?
Also they state it is an amoled panel, was anybody able to confirm this or its only a marketing trick?
So yeah, if anybody has a recommendation which one to order, I would be grateful.
Bad news is i have three of these type watches and all the same. Very very slow , terrible battery and all A8.1
They are all the same. Even to the point playstore crashes until google eventually starts working. I’d give them a miss
I guess a lot of false advertisement then. It s really a shame, I think the size in this sqarish format is great for running apps. The circular watches take too much space when you switch to the square mode. It s unfortunate there are no wear os watches with camera (need it for QR code scanning). This would provide perfect mix of longer battery life and I could still develop my app for it.
I did order the S10 Ultra 3 now, they claim to have a larger battery so will report back once I get it.
I get the play store crash message on all my 8,1 watches when I use Chrome (even on the good ones!). It happens a few times, I back out each time, and things seem to OK from there,
that’s because gms itself is not made for these thing, if you want a good experience you have to get chinese versions that doesn’t have gms and usually perform better
That’s very true for almost if not all of these devices.
connection to Google is not possible from within China (generally speaking). So, if they do try to integrate GMS, it’s almost impossible to to test properly via VPNs etc..
Google will never certify any of these devices and so straight away, a lot of effort is involved in getting it to the stage where it is possible to sign in without crashing the system.
in my opinion, the product should not try to use GMS due to the very obvious problems I just mentioned. There needs to be a choice for the end user to add GMS for themselves. Otherwise this is always going to be a problem.
I was really hoping that MicroG would be the answer to most of the issues, and who knows - it might still happen. But the sooner people accept that fully working, certified,Google integration is just not going to be possible - the better. In my opinion.
