Has anyone unlocked the bootloader of the ticwris max s using mtk tools?
You need to understand the preloader.
You don’t use any tools at all.
In Android 7 it’s not even necessary

yeah I figured that out. lol. I asked that before my watch was delivered and I was prepping for working on it so I would know what to expect lol. Again, thank you for all your help

Speaking from my low experience with my quite new Ticwris Max S, I intended to root for making some performance adjustments, but not succeeded. Fastboot oem unlock reports okay, “fastboot flashing unlock” gives errors and sometimes succeeds with OKAY, but getvar all and getprop both still report “locked” bootloader. The experience with Magisk (usually this works perfectly) on this particular watch it does not recognize the boot.img file to select for patching (or it´s due to the file manager of watch). Thisfor I was interested witch approach others have took to achieve root.
It’s very simple.
Experienced users know this.
