Yes, that’s what I was thinking.

However, if he can’t boot the device - a photo of the soc on the board is the only useful option I think.

i have the core 4, the hard reset is long press the power button (lower one) for at least 10 seconds

if that doesn’t work i’m happy to download anything you think would help, though would need some help with instructions ?

It’s pretty bad from what I hear. Would you agree with that @AILIFE

@Dr_Andy_Vishnu would likely confirm the same thing and maybe even has an alternative solution for GMS on the Chinese firmware :+1:

yeah you trade battery and performance for it
or you can use my system which supports microg which you can use all google freature including login to apps and get push notifications but trade minimal battery for it

Yep, I’m thinking more about generic users like @christ who would probably rather sacrifice a goat at dawn, whilst naked, rather than go through the process to flash your system image.

And there’s the problem.

Your work is excellent, but using your system image for a regular watch buyer might be terrifying. Unless you have a simple “anyone can do this” solution for flashing it?

Please excuse me if you have, I really have been out of the picture for a while and now we are down to just three administrators here - hopefully not for too long, but still…

only need to flash system image no need modify vendor yest the process is simplified to as easy as it can possibly be and the next version(O3s) (currently in O1) will be production-ready to be built in device, assuming our teammate will be allright and can work on schedule

I agree entirely so i use this method for Gapps

However there is no way i am spending a month arguing with @christ over this. It is what it is and works 90% for me :+1:

it was just because of bad FDL and without need to modify vendor it is less difficult so without ai it is viable
