T-mobile wearable plan ($5.00) is no go

So activated a wearable sim for X3+ at the store and call won’t work on the phone. Data works. Finally after hours of tech support they said wearable plan only work with T-Mobile wearable devices. They are blocking call facility on other watches.
If i throw my phone sim in the watch it works fine. 

Guess Ting is the next cheapest option with data and voice combined.

Hi,

Ideally like to leave my Note 5 at home occasionally if I can get away with it and use the watch as a phone (forward calls to the watch number) especially when going for a run etc.

(For now I transferred the wearable plan to my Gear S2 but it does not even have a proper interval timer app. Not sure what Samsung is thinking with their Gear watch line. )

Could you please link to the “forward calls and sms app”?
