stock agenda and google agenda

I installed google agenda which has the same name as the N°1 agenda… it messed up everything and now, I have 5 copies of the N°1 agenda shortcuts  in the app menu and no more google agenda shortcut… 

what can I do :

  • to eliminate the redundant shortcuts
  • to desactivate N°1 agenda and use google agenda ?

edit : ok I found this on XDA forum :“To install the Google Calendar you MUST first disable the stock calendar. You need to install the app “Settings Search” to get to the normal App Manager where you can disable it. Then when you install Google Calendar it will work. Without this step, the Google Calendar is masked by the default one by the same name.”

If it may help… for me it worked like a charm

Well I have a D5+ and facing the same problem. Better to say a big problem.
I knew about setting search and where to disable the default Calendar but when ever I try to install The Google-Calendar I can not get it to work. The app is always closing. And now I can not even get the default Calendar back as the Icon won`t come back to the menu. Any work around suggestion would be helpful to me.

Thanks. But you have to disable the calendar on the watch also.

I completely forgot about this threat though I never got the Calendar going on my D5+.
So thank you “elyot” for the hint with the Calendar for Android 4.4! That solved my problem. Finally there is a Calendar on my watch that is slightly usable.
