Sports functionality?

Anybody use this much for sports, and if so:-

  1. what’s the gps lock like

  2. whats the associated app like, and

  3. can you set an alert for heatrate and does the phone vibrate/flash if exceeded

simply put, I am considering replacing a fitness band and smartwatch with one device, any thoughts on its overall functionality as a fitness device?

you might want to wait a bit for the i7 and the w2\kw68 which also has ip67\ip68.

got any timescales on that, and do you know any key features they are likely to have, square or round obviously being the most important?

That would be great, and while I appreciate there are many factors involved around sports apps, for me a key issue is the fitness side of it, and in particular the ability to set an upper heart rate and have the device alert you (vibrate/flash) when this is exceeded and not tethered to the app (on your smartphone), notwithstanding all the caveats around relying on the heart rate info
