Yes - in some ways they are - like the face engine for instance. But the launcher they use is one of two at the moment. The very old, outdated but functional one - which cannot handle notifications or the newer X5+ launcher based on the S3 launcher and so does not work too well with swiping.
Soon we will have the best of both worlds 
What I need is an X5+ with the near-bezzel-less screen of the Lemfo Y3. Prefferably no bezzel on the screen at all.
I will one y3 trying, I hope not so long need to wait…
The Y3 has same screen - just that the maker put a metal bezel over the surrounding edge so that you cannot see the gap I saw one pulled apart.
The IQI I4 is a lovely smooth - completely bezel-less screen with nice rounded edge. Very nice indeed
The Y3 has just been pulled from the market and LEMFO have stopped selling it. No one seems to know why. When I asked them they just said it did not sell very well and the LES1 will take it’s place …
@Pablo_Eleven_Pablo11 I know that. but seem like, with Eric’s launcher work good. I don’t understand lemfo… Was around 80 bucks… Anyway can I another compatible rom install to y3, like kw88 or other?

@Tony_C the latest I have is 28th Feb, nothing new has been made. I am not sure that it will because it is not selling very well… But I will let you know.

This is the reason, I bought it in Gearbest 3 months ago and now they ask me to return it to repair it by guarantee, the costs of return amount to € 25, conclusion, do not buy anything else to gearbest.
@Toni_Riba they all ask you to pay postage. It’s one of the problems with buying these watches from China. However 25 Euro is a bit much for postage … That’s the kind of price DHL charge …Must be something cheaper ?
No, it is the international post price for sending a package from Barcelona to the address they tell me from China, to others I specify that it has to be by normal mail no agencies
Anyway I do not know about Gearbest anymore, they told me that the straps could be changed and when I removed the cover I saw that there are 2 wires coming out towards them.
