[Solved] Cellular Data not working with w618 X5+ firmware

Hi,

First off all, thank you for all the information I can find here. I am a new user of android smartwatches and it’s not so easy to use them well.

Unfortunately, if I open this new thread is because I had bad luck when I tried to flash my X5+ to the new firmware available here: /thread/543/new-x5-w618-version-20170111

Everything seems to work well but I have absolutely no access to cellular network. I think this comes from the firmware.
Unfortunately, when I flash the rom I choose Download+Format using SPTools so now I can’t revert the operation by reseting the watch…oups…

So I would like to flash the watch with the original rom but I don’t now where to find it.
Does someone here have it? Perhaps can I use an original rom from another manufacturer or watch model?

now that we know that there are 2 models you need to know first which one you have and if you tried to flash the w616 then you need to see if your watch is w618 under the cover on the watch itself. if you can upload a photo that would be great.

you need the stock rom for your watch : /thread/543/new-x5-w618-version-20170111 make sure NOT to leave the preloader marked (remove v mark) when you flash the watch. reset before and after you flash the watch. if you still have problems notify here.

one last thing…it could from the IMEI number…which is missing on my watch?!?

Problem Solveddddddd :wink:
It was a question of IMEI number missing. I had to use MTK Engineering Mode app to fix a new IMEI number and now everyhting is ok.

guys it is very important to remember to uncheck th preloader before any flashing because it effects the imei.
