We all have to remove the watch while charging, so it needs pin- or password-protection, just like any phone.
Thanks to some friendly users in this forum I learned about QuickShortcutMaker which seems to be necessary just to access the Unlock selection in Settings.
Shouldn’t all the fancy watch faces not be developed for the lock screen then?
