Sorry, but I’m not sure what you are talking about?
If you want to get this into a A8.1 watch you will need to install universal launcher for it to work

If I understand it correctly, should I install the Universal Launcher, create a “clockskin” folder and upload it?

It failed. Maybe I installed the bad UL. We will not solve it anymore, this is not the Forum for Android Wear. Thank you for your help
UL works on all my A8 watches
What UL? There are more about Google Play and here I found Clockskin from Erik, but it doesn’t work for me. I tried the format of the .watch dial (WFD can do without warranty) but nothing helped, Ain in the Clockskin folder or in WatchFaces
