This not because you change the device model with a certified model that’s Google apps work..
anyways, you wont believe me, but its ok, i make the next system for smart watch, just sayin
Good luck and i hope we will see your next system soon…
From what I’ve been reading here, it sounds like these Chinese Smartwatches mostly have some pretty custom OSes on them, so they will not all be the same. For this watch, it is incorrect to say that the apps necessarily cannot run in the background and stop working. Under “Settings→Application Background Management” there is a setting that allows you to toggle that behavior where it kills most apps upon locking the screen. If you disable that setting, apps run in the background just fine. Further, if you want to enable that auto task killer feature to save battery, there is a “White List” where you can select your favorite specific apps to definitely not kill and just leave running in the background.
the reality is, the apps DO run in the background, you can use the white list and it actually works
but some apps rely on google play to deliver notification, and google play is closed after 5 minute of screen off in all the firmware to save battery, so it makes people believe that apps do not run in background, even if they run the dontkillmyapp benchmark and get 100% they still dont believe it
for developers, use a overlay window can prevent your app being killed very effectively
May I ask, what bloatware did you find and remove from this phone? I am not knowledgeable enough that anything looks obviously removeable or battery-hungry to me…
Hello to you All,
How to make Watchdroid ( SmartwatchNotifications )work:
Watchdroid requires the following permission adding via ADB for it to work correctly:
pm grant com.lumaticsoft.watchdroidassistant android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
This will allow the watchdroid app to " display over other apps " which is missing.
The same procedure?? ![]()
Thanks for responding!!!
That is correct yes
