Removing Kospet Hope screen protector

Hi,

I have a Kospet Hope & bought a metal watch band to replace the supplied one. The band (24mm) seemed to be a bit wider than the space between the watches lugs. I managed to fit the band, but had to use a bit of force to get it between the watch lugs. While fitting it I had to hold the watch very tightly & this seems to have caused a couple of bubbles to appear on the screen. I assume that there is a screen protector fitted to the watch (there is a spare one supplied in the box) & that I have flexed the watch enough to cause the ‘bubbles’ to appear. Can anyone confirm that the watch does have a screen protector fitted & if so, how can I remove it?

Kev

Hi.

Here’s the answer.

Hi Robert76,

Thanks for the video, it doesnt look hard to remove. I’ll give it a try later today.

Hi everyone,

I removed the screen protector, it came off just as in the video above! It is just a clear plastic protector. I was worried that it may have been a glass protector & may have cracked & possibly damaging the watch screen.

Thanks for the help.

I was so pissed!!! I had scratches all over my screen and I’ve only had the phone for 1 day. Then, thanks to this thread, I realized there is already a screen protector installed and THAT’s what was scratching. I removed it fairly easily and now the screen looks great. These watches are supposed to have advanced gorilla glass so I’m not sure why a screen protector is needed.

Thank You!!!

I have a feeling this screen protector is actually harder than the screen underneath.
I took it off a broken Thor 4 plus, and you can scratch the glass underneath with a knife.

Are there any other screen protectors that would be compatible with the Hope? But a bit more durable?
My hope came with a protector on it, and sure enough, there was a spec of dust under it, so it made a bubble. And in my infinite wisdom, i tried to replace it with the extra they included, but i forgot to take into account… i have shaky hands because MS. So it wasn’t anywhere near close.

So I’d like to order more (to have someone else install), but i’d like something a bit more durable. Any ideas?
