Recent letter from AT&T
“We’re shutting down the 2G networks by the end of December 2016.”

What does this mean for you?
If you are using a SIM in any smartwatch that lacks 1900mhz 3G in the U.S. you will lose data service completely in large sections of the country. Some of these areas can be as large as Spain or France.

Devices affected;
All MTK6572 smartwatches running Android 4.4 or higher.
