@Neil_Savanah that is great news but also lucky. I know someone else who flashed this onto a 1gb version and it bricked it. So I am glad but puzzled .
I am talking to the manufacturer about it and they are also surprised…
@Pablo_Eleven_Pablo11 Me too man, very puzzled & relieved that it worked cos I kinda had to do it after stupidly installing the I4 firmware, it was literally do or die for me at that point. So thanks again for the link, I knew it was a gamble but luckily it paid off

@Neil_Savanah my gut feeling is that this is a defective 2gb version with only 1gb ram working. Hence no brick.
And Banggood must know something or they would not have refunded your money so easily…
But - good result anyway.
@Pablo_Eleven_Pablo11 I feel the same, again though I didn’t get a full refund but enough of a refund for me to be happy. I didn’t accept their initial offer either, I asked for more & they agreed.

No not quite but I got it for a pre-order price that was under US$100 at the time so it was still considerably cheaper than buying a 1gb model & I think pretty cheap for what it is but I possibly could have gone a little harder perhaps. (update: I really liked the Finow X5 Air you showed here so after our conversation I contacted Banggood about still wanting a 2GB watch & whether they’d do me a special price on the X5, they didn’t but gave me US$10 worth of Banggood points so for what it’s worth it is more than 50% in my favor now if you count this)

@Neil_Savanah For anyone with a I4/I4PRO interested in a spare cable, I got my K88H cable & it works fine. They’re available from GearBest
