It May depend on the app you are using to sync to the watch. I run WatchDroid and when my daughter sends me a picture, in a text it usually will display on the watch screen, but not always. Not sure if the size of picture matters. I am able to tap on the picture, view it alone and if I remember correctly even tap and zoom the picture. This is on a Lem 7 running Android 7.0 build V2.4. But I have not seen a way to download the picture on the watch only the phone.
I don’t syn… I use my watch as my only phone. I use the default sms app that comes with the W1.
have you enabled data and roaming? and added the apn from your operator?
