No.1 D5+ after root

Hi! Yesterday i rooted my D5+ following Lokifish Marz thread and all went sucessfully! But now i noticed that the watch has lost the heart rate measure capability (it always gives an error trying to read the pulse) and it also lost the pedometer capability (0 steps in all day). I was thinking of flashing the original firmware in order to get those features back. If i do it, does it loses TWRP and root?

Anybody knows if the D5+ can have the option to change the screen from round to square by hand?

Anyone have underclocked in order to save battery? And what about trying to install Xposed for mediatek devices? What could we gain?

1. you'll lose root when flashing the stock rom. 2.long press on the button will take you where you can change from round to square or just go to settings in display. 3.nope. 4. i do'nt see why not, more access to system files if you know what xposed gives you, you will have more freedom with your watch and change things in it. www.androidbatterylife.com/2013/12/underclocking.html

I also did root yesterday and also it gives me error when measuring the heart pulse, The podometer works.

Nor does any application of the play store

Any solution?

Try to unroot and see if you still have  problems, were these before you rooted?

Try to uproot and see if you have still problems, we’re these before you rooted?

After root the problem occurred

Edit: The pedometer works ok but Heart Rate has been lost with rooting.

. Opening an app and then long pressing D5+ button doesnt give me any option to turn to a square display. Is it only mine?

. Saw this link in order to install xposed: www.gammerson.com/2016/06/xposed-framework-on-mediatek.html      Do you think that this is the correct procedure? (I’m used to use xposed in my oneplus). I think that it could really be useful to install some modules…

. Whats the best aproach to unroot?

Thanks for the reply Smith! Today I’m going to try to install xposed in my watch and put some modules…

And what should i try to make heart rate sensor work again? Any advices? Maybe copy some files from the original firmware files?

Did you flash the original firmware?I think it would make it work again.

I have to check it yet, but I can not locate the app “Ios push notification” that consumes most of the battery.

Do you know where the app is?

i used settings search to get to this app.

I’ve frozen it with titanium, and the battery life has improved a lot.

So, let me get this straight: you have rooted your watch and like mine, you’ve lost the heart rate sensor. You flashed the original firmware and rooted again and now you have the heart sensor working again. Is this right?

I underclocked my watch to the max speed of 1000mhz and sincerely don’t see any improvement in battery . Also tried to change the governor to “conservative” again with no battery efficiency.

I use Greenify app and made almost all apps hibernate and i thought is was going to make a huge difference, but it didn’t…

The most important thing is really the “iOS push notification” service. It eats the battery fast!

I use the watch with 100% battery starting at 8h30 and at 19h00 i have only 40% with Wi-Fi disabled, no SIM card, heart rate sensor and pedometer disabled and M2D enabled.

Next I’m going to try xposed… When i have a little bit time.

My friend, you rooted your watch and lost heart rate sensor and then, after flashing original firmware and rooted again you have heart sensor working again. Is this what i understood from you?

Sonia, what about flashing other kernel? I wonder if its available one that works…
