New of my hr measure app version:

What is new:

  • better hr measure
  • app will not stop working by itself
  • add accelerometer measure (user features will come later)
  • possibility to delete data
  • some bugfixes

I need your help:

  • First of all I improved the hr measure or I hope it. Can you share your experience with me, because there are some other measure methods which supported by the hr sensor and I haven’t other devices to test the accuracy
  • Second I add accelerometer measurement. I want to classify your activity like google fit and also I want to detect custom gesture with this but I fear that this drains the battery too much. Tell it me if you notice this, please and I will it fix it.

hey michael, it is the same app just improved, right? so i can delete the old one.

Hey Sonia,
yes it is the same app. You can backup your user data in folder “com.fisch.deepfit” and try it. But in the last days I already notice a few bugs:

  • sometimes the new version freeze at startup
  • somtimes it only shows a heartrate of 0
    workaround:
  • restart app

I will fix it soon. So maybe at the moment the older version could be the better choice.

Hi, does this add ‘fitbit’ features to the watch? Would love to have constant HR tracking -> kcal expendure/day.

do you want to a feature that pass the hr measure to the fit bit app?
I had think about an option to pass the data to Google Fit.
I will look how easy or difficult this would be but I didn’t have very much time for this at the moment.

@michael_fischer This is fantastic work !! It would be very popular for Google fit users if data can be collected by Google fit.
I know this is not easy though and I appreciate the amount of work already done here :slight_smile:
