Hi,
Kingwear has updated their website and put a new firmware up for KW99.
It’s version:
KW99_CS1_V1.0_B_20180528
Which is available in 2 versions, a Chinese and an English one.
Both are in a file called KW99.zip, that van be downloaded front the Kingwear website www.king-wear.com.
It does not change kernel version or update security patches through.
Only new thing i noticed is an accounts setting in the about phone menu.
Is this firmware compatible with the KW Allcall W1? It seems like there is a lot of talk about the KW99 in this forum that says it is for the Allcall W1, are they really the same watch?

Well, here’s the thing. They are the same - almost.
The W1 and W2 are both made by KingWear and they are sold as branded products to AllCall. So KingWear is the manufacturer but AllCall put their name on them.
The Problem is that the AllCall versions are slightly customised. For example they will have more ram and storage than the original KingWear version.
So this means that you can probably flash the system image but not the rest as it will be coded for the extra ram etc…
Flashing the system only and performing a factory reset should be ok.
If not then you can flash back to your original version.
