I am going to remove this post because this is where problems come from. Members go there and try to flash and then realise that their watch is completely incompatible with the version posted on the KW site. The hardware has changed and many people still have the older version. I don't mean the Pro version - I mean the regular version has changed a LOT...... They will end up with the same problems that KW88 users had - upside down or completely black screens. I appreciate you are trying to help but it's really not good.

on the kingwear website there is a new firmware for kw99.

can be found on: REMOVED.

In the downloaded zip is a txt file in Russian which reads:

I have no idea what that means though.

OTA stil gives me the “product is not exist” message though.

why for the phone? this firmware is for the watch and it is downloaded to your pc and flash it to your watch or check for ota updates.

which links? all our firmwares links are checked and work. when ppl used links on Kingwear site they’ve end up with bricked watches so we are careful with firmwares that we post.

Somebody known if the kw99 have the “AOD” Always on display ?

I don’t know for sure, but since it has android 5.1 I don’t believe it has AOD. As far as I know, only the 7.1.1 watches have AOD

You are correct . Only android 7.1.1 have AOD if they have a amoled screen

I look this watch because i need the bluetooth calling and actualy i have a Optimus pro with 7.1.1 Android with AOD and without bluetooth calling.
