what is your watch brand?

i was not able to configure the 3g notifications i will check again and reply.

Hi. First of all, thank you for the great work you are doing. I have a Lemfo LF16 and a Huawei P9 Lite. At the beginning of installing it works very well but soon it does not work anymore. I have to open and close applications, send test notification to get it working again. I have reviewed the energy savings and everything is fine. Thank you for your help

I had a similar issue - mainly due I think to the phone energy saving settings built into MUIU (my handset is a Xiaomi Mi 5S, watch is a Finow X5+). I think Huawei might also use MUIU so maybe the same applies to you?

I ended up doing the following.

  1. Manage apps battery usage, make m2d bluetooth manager and sender run with no restrictions
  2. Enable autostart for both apps

These 2 steps were still not sufficient to keep things active - m2d would stop working after an hour.

3) Buy and install Tasker, and run a task every 30 minutes that launches the Bluetooth manager, waits, then launches the M2D sender app. This is run from a profile that runs from 07:00-22:00 every day, if airplane mode is off, and smartwatch is near (BT Near).

This was sufficient to prevent the notifications from stopping (so no longer any need to open M2d bluetooth manager manually, and wait for it to find the smartwatch again).

I did originally have it setup to also send a blank message to M2D notifications on the smartwatch, but this was not needed.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Phil

Hello, Phil. Thanks for your answer.
The first two options had already been made. I have to try Tasker to see if that works.
This afternoon I’ll test and tell you.
Thanks again for everything. Have a nice day.

I read your explanation on post already , and i found your youtube present ( It is D5 smartwatch )

If it is KW88 Smart Watch, The method is the same Right

If Right, My problem is M2D Receiver Setting on my KW88, i can not open M2D receiver setting Menu because KW88 small screen touch.

Thanks Sonia, I reinstall my apps and everything is working now.

Would anyone please make a step by step video on how to use these apps as I have a kw88 and would love to be able to see and reply to my texts and phone calls. (don’t. Won’t to use sim card and have two separate numbers) many thanks rob

hey, i'm not the developer:) i just love his apps which are the only ones that work great with our watches.  1. you can receive notifications by 3g, wifi and bt manager. 2. use at first mobizen to set the apps because you get an option for display and choose smartwatch. follow my video it is easy.

the apps will only give you notifications for calls and sms but the reply button will open on the phone and not on the watch.

did you try the video i did? it is’nt step by step but easy to follow.

for calls\sms use these ones:

phone: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mysms.android.sms&hl=en

watch: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mysms.android.mirror&hl=en

Thanks but those app still doesn’t let me. Answer call and texts on my watch (without using a sim) m2d apps are just the same as the native app wii wear that came with the watch. So to solve my problem I will have to get another sim card(and another phone number to give frenids and family)

Many thanks rob

are you sure? it should work well with wifi to make it works with 3g you need to install this app and look for data usage go down and turn off google service in both.

How can I turn off Google services? I do not understand how I can turn them off since I have the two apk m2d server and receiver installed and with the parameters well inserted. Thank you

no, not turning them off just in data usage the limitation of using data connection. go to google gesture - write data usage - locate (scroll down) the google service and turn that off both of them. and m2d will work with 3g.
