Had the kospet prime 2 years ago but was returned due to manufacturing defect.
my question is its so called clone ( lokmat appllp pro) not supported in this forum and why?
I am thinking of buying one but fear the fake imei,s that most chinese manufacturers use can render this watch useless after being blacklisted by some mobile service providers then it will be a wifi only watch
any suggestions for a 4g android watch with decent battery, real imei and a sim card slot?
As a team we currently support Kospet and Lemfo watches as we a good relationship with them. Sadly at this moment there is nothing on the horizon from them. Everything else on the market which is available now is A8.1 with fake specs ( which is now even easier to prove ) with no firmware and no official support from us. All we can do if one of the mods has personally purchased is help a little. Its a shame really as more and more people are finding our forum desperate for help with these fake watches. I for one do buy them as i love my hobby but i know exactly what i am buying and what to expect. You will always buying at a risk. I recently bought a GT-100. They have done an awesome job hiding the real specs of an A8.1 watch
A9- no
Amoled - no
Total menu change to usual A8.1
Boot up change which is clever
Battery fake
For me a clever fake
The should avertise it as it is as its actually a good watch that works very well but you dont get what you ordered
is the vwar s7 ultra 4g the same as the watch you mentioned?
and is kospet optimus 2 (4/128gb version) still a good choice these days?( i have an offer on this watch were the seller mentioned he got it last year and used it just for testing then left it in its box!).
sorry to bother you with lotsa questions…what does the pro+ version differ from older version in optimus 2? and if its on v2 firmware this means i cant flash FAW firmware?
The Kospet Optimus pro is the older one, running on A7.
The Kospet optimus 2 is running on A10. It has a flipcam.
You can’t flash the FAW firmware on Optimus pro.
some kospet optimus 2 has “pro+” written on the back just like the one in the screenshot and some optimus 2 doesnt …my question is whats the difference.
Ah ok, I understand. This one comes with a larger storage. 64GB instead of 32, if I remember right. But you can flash theFAW firmware on both versions.
It’s silly to bother with this, but just to be honest - there is a 64gb of storage model without that print on the rear cover.
If it has that printed on the rear cover, it means that it it was part of a custom order and has 128gb of storage. The bulk customer did not need the whole order and so some were sold off as a “special edition “. There were only a certain number made though because the product was already out of production for at least a year when this custom batch were made. If anyone has a different size of storage than 128gb and it still has the print on the back, it just means the rear cover has been replaced with this one.
It’s all irrelevant though really, because even this version has not been manufactured for a long time. If you find one that is “new” you are very lucky. There are clones of this model that run Android 8 and have very different RAM and Storage.
So please be careful and if you already have it, please confirm the version of firmware that you have on it.
It is always best to get a copy of the original firmware to be safe.
And by the way, @G1NT0N1C is correct about using the FAW update zip. It works fine as long as you downgrade the firmware from v2xxx to v1.6 or v1.7 before you use the update zip.
If you have not purchased it yet, always ask the seller to show you the firmware version details by sending you a screen shot or picture. At least this may help prove if it is authentic or not.
