Lokmat appllp 5 pro android 15 on indiegogo, anyone in the us able to pledge?

hey all, lokmat just put up an indiegogo with a new appllp 5 pro running android 15. 1.6" amoled, mtk6769, 4gb/64gb, 950mah, supposed to ship in december.

https://www.indiegogo.com/en/projects/lokmat-appllp-9-max-smart-watch/appllp-9-max-smart-watch

anyone in the us actually get a pledge through? checkout keeps throwing “shipping country not found” / “server error” for me and there’s no spot to pick a country at all. emailed lokmat already but figured i’d ask here bc it’s still at 0 backers.

thanks

UPDATE: Lokmat responded to me and said what Pablo mentions below as well and that the IGG wasn’t meant to be a purchase page yet. Hoping November for the larger model

These are not for sale in the US because volte does not work and us certification is not possible since US - China trade relations and restrictions went bad.

They cannot be shipped to the USA unless a third party takes an order and makes it clear that VoLTE is not possible and devices have no USA certification.

Lokmat certainly does not ship to USA anymore I believe.

This link is not for the APPLLP 5 - It’s for the APPLLP 9 Max. So why would anyone buy it from Indiegogo rather than the usual places? It will be on Amazon soon too… officially.

I have also already mentioned that there are two round Amoled versions of the APPLLP 9 coming and another rectangular model as well.

This seems like a rabbit hole to me.

We already have samples of the 1.7" round Amoled APPLLP 9 arriving in the next few days.

Basically the same body and screen as the S13 and same pull out camera.. Same 4+64gb configuration but with the MTK board and Android 15. Available to buy in the next week or so.

We will post the details as soon as the advertising materials are ready and then add the buying link if anyone wants one.

The 1.6" round Amoled is coming in November and we will also be posting details of this one once we have the samples and advertising materials and specifications.

Thanks Pablo11. I’m just a bit confused, you’re saying there’s a different watch that’ll be available for the US that is basically the appllp 9 but round OLED?

Actually I don’t know if it will ship to the USA due to the problems with VoLTE.

But yes, the APPLLP 7 Pro is now in my hand and will be on sale next week I believe. I’ll open the dedicated thread for it tomorrow or the next day.

1.7" round Amoled screen, 4gb RAM and 64gb storage. Buttery smooth operation, I mean I’m truly impressed after 15 years in the Android watch industry. Very good indeed.

The APPLLP 9 Max shipped to the USA because it has BT calling stack… But without VoLTE working in the USA and the APPLLP 7 Pro does not have BT calling - I don’t know if it will ship to the US. I didn’t realise that you were in the US.

Does volte work for your S13 and the APPLLP Max?

Yes - that is correct :ok_hand:

Damn, I’m so excited! After all my tinkering this is crazy that one will just be working lol. Also even if it doesn’t ship officially to the US I can use proxy shoppers (how I got my s13, s100, and s108).

Will you make an announcement when it’s live?

Yes the s13 and the appllp 9 I have both work with networks in the US. But the s13 can only do data not calling.

If the Lokmat C30 (that’s the MTK board used for the APPLLP 9 Max and the APPLLP 7 Pro 1.75 oled round screen and the APPLLP 5 Pro 1.6" oled round screen ) works in the USA on volte for VoLTE voice calls, I will notify Lokmat and they will be extremely happy.

They only put BT calling in because VoLTE not working in the USA was causing so many returns from unhappy people.

So I guess orders will be open to the USA once I sort this out :+1:t3::tada::tada::tada::tada:

By the way, I just received the APPLLP 7 Pro 1.75" round oled screen watch.

Everything just works and works very well indeed. Screen is the perfect size for a watch and it is practical to wear without feeling like an idiot… lol.

For me, as a watch - this is my favorite model.

But then I don’t need mine to do any funky shit.

Beautiful screen, extremely fluid OS, good battery life, VoLTE working, screen wakes up for notifications, watchfaces look fantastic and work extremely well.

All round, I’m a very happy chappy :joy:

Can’t wait to get the advertising materials and open the official thread for it.

It’s really important that someone creates a TWRP recovery for these models (luckily they all have the same MTK C30 board but slightly different screen drivers). If you feel like it, that would be awesome :crossed_fingers:t2::crossed_fingers:t2:

Once that’s done, because it’s MTK - you will be able to run many different system images on it.

I’d like to get a couple of decent developers interested. I’m hoping it’s just a matter of time.

In my opinion, I’m much happier with MTK compared to Unisoc or ASR.

I know lots of people are going crazy about the w527 from unisoc… But that struggles with anything above Android 12.

MTK has a huge development following and this soc is extremely powerful.

So, fingers crossed :+1:t3:

By the way - can you confirm which cellular providers are working for voice calls with your APPLLP 9 Max please?

Lokmat are asking.:+1:

I’m so jealous I want one already :sob:

And my appllp 9 has full network data and mobile calling with Mint Mobile unlimited plan (through T-Mobile); I just testing a call to myself. So whatever they did with it works completely in the US. I didn’t make any changes to the mobile capabilities, it just worked as is.

Also I’ve purchased directly from Lokmat recently and they shipped to me. But any chance you can you see if they don’t ship to US officially if I can still do an order? I don’t mind paying extra for the entire shipping cost.

I don’t really care about phone capabilities as long as I can have mobile data for using the internet out and about. Heck, my main watch now is my S100 that can’t even do that and I just hotspot it from my phone.

I just want the best and amoled mini tablet on my wrist more than a phone lol. You’ve seen my posts, you know how passionate I am about it

UPDATE: It’s already launched on Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lokmat/lokmat-appllp-7-pro-smart-watch-mtk6769-android-15-system/?ref=kicktraq

Well, personally I would not take part in a kickstarter, but each to their own I guess.

Yes I will ask Lokmat about this shipping to the USA. I would buy from a reliable place that would honor warranty personally.

By the way, you do realise that this is a round screen model right? I saw you mentioned "tablet “and just wanted to make sure you know this is a round 1.7” screen.

Thanks for the info about the cellular providers.

I thought you had tried two…? T-Mobile and Mint are basically the same…

Have to be specific when I speak to the guys in China :crossed_fingers:t2::+1:t3:

I’ve backed many kickstarters so I’m not worried and it’s by Lokmat. But please ask, if I can get it sooner I’d prefer that, thanks!

Yes, I meant a tablet in functionality, full android, not screen shape. I prefer a round amoled screen.

I tried one, mint mobile which uses T-Mobile’s line.
