LES1 : flashing firmware without loosing apps & 16Gb mem

Wow,

I flashed 2017.10.11 FW ( with OTA enabled ) on 2017.11.22 BT FW without loosing :

  • TWRP Recovery
  • personal apps & related data
  • content of internal memory

Of course, the purpose was to obtain new OTA updates. Watch finds, in 2 steps, 2 wireless updates :

  • 2018.02.06
  • 2018.03.13

and of course flashing first one of these 2 updates involves loosing TWRP Recovery, I supposed that Anyway are still maintained :

  • personal apps & related data
  • content of internal memory

Now I’ve only to flash over TWRP and SuperSU again. That’s all done

PS With SP Flash Tool 5.17.44

In order to be able to keep TWRP, apps and internal memory, u’ve to flash firmware with SP Flash Tools UNTICKING :

  • PRELOADER => usual, avoid to tick it otherwise u’ll lose IMEI

  • BOOT & RECOVERY => in order to keep patched boot image and TWRP Recovery image

  • CACHE & USERDATA => in order to keep apps, apps data, personal settings and internal memory contents
