I saw that your launcher has the action to put the display on Normal or Zoom mode, right?
What command do you use when we touch Zoom button?
I’am thinking about the possibility to create an app which changes the mode based on apps that are running.
Thanks.
great to know that somebody knows and have skill to do so,appreciated to come to this community ,what about to make an app or tasker for bluetooth connection to check every periods of time when the watch get disconnected in andoid and IOS.
I think is better to make a custom universal kernel(battery wakelock ,hibernation,display,connection,google services,watch idle, tasker,etc) working alone with Eric launcher
Hi,
Yesterday I received a new OTA update notification on my lem6. The update installed a new app called WatchBT. I think the new app was installed exactly to do what you are suggesting.
I have a Moto 360 (1st generation) with Wear OS 1.5 and I was used to use in pair with my smartphone. I like Wear OS notification system so much. It works pretty well. I almost have no problem with bluetooth connection between Moto 360.
Since I received the lem6 I started to compare the experience I have with each one of them. These are my points:
Chinese watchs use Android rather than Wear OS because it’s depends on Google. Different from android, Wear OS is not so open and Google does not seem to be interested in low cost products, compromising the partnership it has already established with other manufacturers. Or even produce hardware according to Wear OS standards can make the product too expensive. We do not know the exact reason but it seems that Android was in fact the best option to chinese manufacturers.
Without the properly drivers, it will be very very hard to make custom kernels or work in low level
What If try to install Wear OS (some part of it was open by google) on lem6? Forget it, too much work and we do not have the drivers!
What If try to implement Wear OS bluetooth protocol using a normal App (.apk) on Android? It is not documented. Sniffing, documenting and implementing will be a lot of hard work
What If try to use lem7 software in lem6? The drivers problem.
So, what could be done to make Android on watchs a better experience? My suggestions:
Create a set of software (Android level - apk) :
Launcher
Store (for skins, watchfaces, launcher themes, apps specific for rounded or small screens, etc.)
StopWatch / Timer
Calculator
Calendar
Pedometer and Sports trackers
Set of bluetooth features:
* Notification from smartphones
* Bluetooth call
* Contact sync
Buy the way, Eric’s launcher is very good!
I think that would be enough to make the experience a lot more interesting.
We would need many contributors to create a strong community focused on Android for smartwatches.

Does anyone know good apps like these?
Tool Box by Maxcom gives you all this. I have the full version nd can only recommend it

Actually for re-connecting, I never thought about, but sure would be possible, to configure this in atsker/ erobot with a re-try asften as you like and under the conditions you like.
I have to admit, that I hae also no probs with BT, but I also use it very rarely
Eric’s launcher is the best, I think we got that but no well implemented,but the two major issues to work on is the Bluetooth connection and battery besides the software if it’s well optimized.
I just talking out loud, I will hope for those things

Do you have some suggestions it will be great, like re-fresh apk( taskers) It would refresh the whole system without rebooting.

sadly we can only help if we have the watch, do you mean the connection via the wiiwatch app? battery draining can only be caused by apps, do you use any google apps on the watch? which? do you let updates and sync on the watch? which? all these are important as i will try to show on on coming videos.

Give me some time, and I will make a Guide for E-Robot this weekend. I will have to show it on my phone or my watch, but should be easily to transfer to your setup.
You need the refresh of the BT connection right? Something else?

Your videos great ideas, but we need too, to know those applications tested like Seb84 says and other ones that mention before, mostly like battery, Bluetooth connection, google services, GPS, and other the important to optimize the watch even if the device is rooted or not
After my comment I checked my LEM5 and it's actually 5.1. So, if your xposed is not working, that's not because of the OS version.
You might want to re-check your xposed installation. Do xposed modules other that the one-hand mode working?
Here's a post in XDA LEM6 thread by someone using xposed with LEM6:

Just bought myself, a few days, a Tenfifteen F3, I believe that is very very very similar to the Lem6.
Very cool smartwatch, and with Eric’s new launcher is something else!
As I am a fan of Suunto watches, I tried to replicate a Suunto Core Black watchface, derivated from a Suunto Vector watchface, lots of functions.
The thing is that it does not comunicate with the GPS on the watch, there are some minor bugs also, but only on the smartwatch, on my smartphone Huawei P8 Lite 2017 works a delight. You can edit it with watchmaker apk.
Is it possible to get the android 7 from the Lem7 to work on the Lem6 / Tenfifteen F3?
most likely you mean features that works on suunto watch which here does'nt, there are features that are'nt supported by these watches there are limited ones that does, i think even with Eric's launcher they wo'nt work (ricktop).
This watch (both LEM6 and the Ten 15) will not get A7.
These are considered to be legacy watches and will not get further development from the manufacturer.
The best hope is that a custom rom will be made but it is a real challenge and the best hope is from the great Russian devs at 4PDA.
None of the A7 firmware that has been provided for the newer watches would be suitable for this watch.
The main board is completely different. If Finow ever release an A7 solution there may be a chance - because these watches are using a Finow solution.
I liked the LEM6, but for some reason mine did not have good cellular connectivity, it would always drop connection which was irritating.
I’m currently using an old Samsung Galaxy Gear S running 5.1.1 CyanogenMod but the battery life is abysmal on the full Android build. I think my next shot will be the Thor 4G.

My launcher does not support GPS for battery saving, so you can just have the fixed location that you set in prefs.
