Flat tire doesn’t bother me at all. I’m concerned about use when kayaking and general reliability. Without shadow available it can be close to impossible to see anything. Now it’s winter here days are cloudy - I will have to wait to see.
I’ve made factory reset. This time Wifi search works but I can not find (and turn off) infamous wifi scanning. Can you see this setting anywhere?

No, this is not this setting. Android wifi and bluetooth make background scanning for location purposes even when wifi is OFF. To turn it off is vital for the battery. Before last factory reset I was able to do it.
Ah I see…
I think it is now part of the Google Services framework.
I’ll see if I can find it but my guess is that it will be under Settings, More, Google

I was looking everywhere. Funny thing is that I could see it and turn it off before last factory reset. It looked like a message (under wifi setting?) with active text about wifi scanning. The same was with bluetooth. After I turned them off the setting vanished.
I learned about wifi and blutooth scanning for the first time when analyzing battery usage. I could see that with wifi off battery monitor still showed wifi time on. Check yours.
I couldn’t turn off this feature on No.1 D5+. When I found this setting on the Lemfo I was more than happy to turn it off. The effect was clearly visible. I wonder how will it look now when there is no setting.

Are you sure it was under WiFi settings? wifi
I'm sure it was under the last December 17 firmware. I turned it off yesterday. I'm not quite sure if it was under wifi settings but I'm sure it looked like long message with active text inside.
I’m really puzzled. Before last factory reset I also had some Accessibility settings available - like three tap zoom. Now it’s all gone. What a heck? This watch is playing me instead vice versa. Time for ADB flashing?
Edit: I found them by third party app. I had to do it before reset and I forgot. These settings are very handy. Three tap zoom helps a lot in accessing invisible edges of the screen - pretty common experience with round watches.
I’m new to the forum and have been reading up on people’s experience with the Lemfo Lem X smartwatch. Just received my Lem X recently, and unfortunately, the sim cover was really tight the first time I attempted to open it. Long story short, I ended up chipping the metal piece that snaps into the back of the watch. Now the sim cover cannot snap into place to ensure proper sealing for moisture. Does anyone know where I can order a replacement sim cover?

I can confirm the cover was extremely tight. First I destroyed the attached plastic tool to open it. Then I used screwdriver and a trick. When it was half open I gently bent it pressing up from the middle below. Then it came off. (The same with putting it back). I was lucky to have it undamaged.
If you can’t fix it you can always return the watch I guess.
and tell them that I asked you to contact them for a sim card cover for your LEMX.
Tell them where you purchased it and the order number.
Make the email “For the attention of Maria”.
Please be sure to say that you have spoken to me and explain how difficult it was to remove the cover.
It is extremely tight for waterproofing.

Thank you. I have emailed Maria per your request. Hopefully, they have a replacement.
Will Nova Launcher support the Watchmaker faces like the Universal Launcher?
I can’t imagine that they will, as far as I can see Nova Launcher is made for smartphones, not smartwatches, so there’s no reason it should support any kind of watchfaces

That makes sense and pretty much what I thought! Thank you!
