Thank you for another firmware. I got it through OTA (I’m in Poland) two days ago. There is “…More” position in the Settings but I can’t see there any task killer like you mentioned on the firmware thread.
General impressions after two days with the watch:
Great battery life (I use it with sim card, GPS on - “device only” and Osmand offline navigation - edited by me to fit the round screen.) It looks like I will be able to hike all day while recording the track. In previous No.1 D5+ I had only 4 hours of tracking.
Great GPS sensitivity. Watch gets unassisted fix in matter of seconds - even with watch on the wrist.
Low max brightness, I’m afraid I won’t see much on sunny day.
Camera makes portrait photos/movies when watch is horizontal. It’s not intuitive or comfortable.
Before last firmware I could easily pair devices over bluetooth. Now it doesn’t work. I can connect through already paired but watch can’t see new devices. Bluetooth settings interface almost doesn’t let to remove paired device. "Almost’ - because after pecking at the gear icon many, many times I could do it.
Relatively slow reaction to power button
There were two screen protectors mounted on the watch. The second, thick one I noticed after one day with the watch.
I just got the OTA 20181217 and my lemx is one of the very first.
So it’s not only the touch panel driver.
I’ll let you know when I get more info.
What else Pablo11 and can you tell more about the screen on notifications where can I find it, what I am supposed to do get the notifications and turn the screen on. I am still using the last before firmware I did get through OTA but I didn’t know how to enable the function.
In this version 20181217 my with problems connecting bluetooth by Watch Droid. If I open the app on Lem X it connects and when it erases the screen it disconnects and does not connect again … I will go back to the previous firmware version.
Wifi search can’t find any networks but the one that were saved before
Bluetooth can’t pair any new devices
I solved this by installing third party apps: WIFI Network Manager and Bluetooth Pair
Watch has great battery life. I use it as a standalone watch/phone with sim inserted in 2G mode. On standby it uses some 1% of battery an hour. With GPS tracking active (Device Only) it can give more than 8 hour.
I advice you to turn off wifi and bluetooth background scanning (It’s turned on by default). It used to be under wifi settings. After I turned it off the option vanished - another bug in settings. Definitely I don’t like settings. I wish they were similar to those on stock Android - especially with search option available.
Sorry for asking again but I’m trying to understand how you are having these problems…?
Yes it was OTA. But now when I think of it again - if I did factory reset how could I have wifi networks saved? I will make reset again to be sure. It will take some time because I have already maps installed and I want to make PC backup.

Yes I found "Background Cleaner" before. There is "Battery Saver" under it. It's hardly intuitive. Disabling it lets some apps to work in the background. I needed it for recording track with screen off.
Thank you fro your time. I will make factory reset and let you know if it helped. I will also consider rooting the phone. I’m disappointed with max brightness. I have cheap Chinese phone Gretel A7 and it’s max brightness is astounding comparing to Lem X. Like night and day. I went into inside settings by some third party app and I saw that in Lem X there is '100" value for max brightness while in A7 there is “255”. Both are MTK based watches.
Of course I know that. But watching map in full sunlight for 5 seconds shouldn’t kill battery immediately. A7 has 3 times bigger screen and only 2,5 bigger battery,
Here how they compare on my window seal with max brightness:
And I have No.1 D5+ watch with tiny battery and it's still brighter (after two years of use) than Lemfo X. I think Lemfo backlight LED diodes still have a way to go. But to check it I will have to root it.
Yes I also have a D5 and D5+ and X3 and all the others.
But they have amoled screens. The LEMX does not.
Good luck with exploring after you have rooted it
No.1 D5+ is not amoled for sure. Turn it on in the dark and you will see that black is not black. It's IPS if I recall. Also my A7 - $50 phone is not amoled.
