Everyone - I strongly recommend that you update to 20181113 Firmware.
It has new screen wake sensor driver and it is MUCH better

I tried Vysor out but when connecting to widows pc got an error message on phone, that said permission was obscured by another app and was unable connect. I did enable USB debugging etc
You should keep the screen on while you install Vysor from PC to the watch.
Phone has nothing to do with Vysor.
It should be installed on your PC and use a USB cable to connect to your watch.

I don’t know of anything that would block the installation of Vysor unless you have not allowed “install from unknown sources” in the watch security settings.
Once usb debugging is enabled and the security setting is done - there is no reason why install would fail.

I had not noticed this…
anyone can suggest to a newbie what is the right procedure to flash the new firmware without bricking the smartwatch? I’ve already installed VCOM drivers correctly, the SP Flash tool loads the new firmware right away, but, how is supposed to continue? Do i have to turn off the smartwatch and than click on download button, or do i’ve to disconnect the smartwatch click on download and than connect it to my PC? Any suggestion or guide link is really appreciated. Honestly the rise to screen on feature is importart to me, i’d like to test this new firmware. Thanx in advance guys!

Hi,
Is it normal that everytime there is a firmware update to be flashed - that all previous settings/apps/ info is lost afterwards? I’m suffering from new watch deja vue!

OTA does not wipe anything but you should factory reset after OTA so it gets wiped anyway.

That’s why we are here
Hi guys,
here is my problem of the day :
I’m using the lemX with Nova launcher. So it looks more or less like a common smartphone interface. Great so far as full smartphone replacement…
But today I added my work account, and the internal policy enforces the use of a password. I’m okay with that, so I choosed one and i’m now typing a pw to unlock the watch.
My problem : I don’t know how I can access the security management menu you can find on a smartphone trough setings>security (To choose / change pw, pin code, swipe…). Altough I know it exists “somewhere”.
My question : how can i access the security menu?
thanks,
Nicolas

install this app: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.gesturesearch and just write security and it will take you there, make sure to leave security on recent apps( do’nt reset that) for future needs:)
