My Lemfo lem 5 pro says Google play services needs to be updated
But of I try to update the update screen stays empty only a quit button appears and no text or other buttons’.
Any suggestions?

try again google play store and if you still getting this info that means you need to access your account, use Settings Search to do so.

try again google play store and if you still getting this info that means you need to access your account, use Settings Search to do so.
I did input my credentials but then this empty screen appears.
Accessing settings? But why? I dont understand what you mean?

with settings search you can be sure that you did enter your account, open chrome and see if you logged in.

It checked: I’m logged in.
In the playstore on the empty screen a link ‘learn more’ appears.
On the help screen it says that I have to switch on ‘background data’.
I cannot find a setting for this in the settings section.
I cannot use the Play store.

i see, you need to install Google Gesture to access data usage and there to look for what you want and remove district data but most likely you’ll see faster battery draining but not has to be it is depand on the apps you’ll use.

Hi peterd could you describe what you did to solve your issue with “Google play services needs to be updated” in “Play Store” app. I can’t find “settings search” in LEM5(newest firmware) settings menu.
