KW98 new firmware issue.

Hi, with this upgrade for KW98 there is a small heart measurement problem. Can you check it out?

The problem has been found.
The heart rate sensor does not work and gives a bug.
I checked them with another and everything worked.
Perhaps others have the same hardware problem.
From moisture (sweat) of the hand, the sensor is oxidized and stops working.
Excuse me for losing your time.

It's working on my KW98.. As you say, it could be a dirty sensor connection. I'll check it again.

Yes, I tried.
The problem is in the sensor. I tried it on another watch and it does not work either.

I have tested on mine - flashed twice and it is working ok.
I will try it on my KW99 and see if that also works
By the way - your KW98 - does it have 4gb storage or 8gb?

Tested on KW99 as well - same watch really

Works fine.

Did you use the firmware upgrade option in SP Tools ?

The new firmware version works perfectly on KW88, KW98 and KW99.
I tried it at all, as I use it firmware upgrade option in flash tool.
Just on my KW98 (8GB storage) the sensor does not work.
When I changed it with another sensor, everything worked.
Thanks for your time.
Great work, by the way.

ok, not good most likely you’ve lost your imei of the watch…you have to flash the stock firmware NOT any update or new firmware first the stock one after that you can install the firmware that has the new bt calls app BUT make sure you choose upgrade and nothing else just remember all this will not restore your imei and you can’t ask on the forum how to recover it, sorry it is just illegal in most countries to do so.

thank you for your interest. imei is not important for me, i ll not use simcard with watch. Now, i can install latest build (20171111) with sp flash tool and select firmware upgrade option, can i? is it neccesary uncheck preloader option?

thank you again

no,

it is safer if you first flash it with it’s stock firmware and just then with the bt call app firmware. and yes in all time preloader should be marked.

i installed the firmware using firmware update option but i have bt problem still. I’m using watchdroid for notifications because wiiwatch doesnt connect ( htc 10 ).
