Hi all, new to this… can you connect the KW88 to the iphone and recieve texts etc through the watch? If so how do you set it up.

it has it’s own app but it is’nt great the only apps which are on the app store are Pushbullet and PPLconnect.

This is only for android. He has iPhone. As with everyone who has iPhone it disconnects all the time.
Pushbullet and PPLconnect will not work as it works over internet, not bluetooth and pushbullet cannot send from ios to android, only to PC. PPLconnect is not available on iOS. I will be asking for refund for this watch, watch companion app is crap.
Does it mean that there is no workaround that you can use to connect KW88 to iphone?

try also the other app the wiiwear or wiiwatch and update them on the phone, look for also on the app store an app called Klone but it is also works with wifi or 3g only.

try update the app for notifications that on the phone i'm not sure which one you have the wiiwear or the wiiwatch and have a try with Klone if you use mostly 3g cos it works only with 3g or wifi.
After originally buying this watch to work with ios and struggling after all the different apps and upgrades, I shelved my iPhone 6± in favor of my old galaxy s3 so that I could use android with it. Best decision I ever made. I’m running iOS 7.1 on the galaxy s3 and it works so well with the watch droid software. Now I just need to upgrade to a better android lol.

ios 7.1 on your s3?? you mean os 7, right:)? good decision:) just for the check wiiwear and wiiwatch do'nt work well with iphone?

Yes Android 7.1.2 on my s3 to be exact. Correct, none of those apps work well with iOS.
