KW88 Battery Life

Am I supposed to do the battery calibration when the watch is fully charged, close to being empty or does it not matter at all when I do it?

For a week or so, my KW88 won’t charge beyond 59% and often shuts down within an hour or two zof being “fully” charged. It really annoys me!

Hey guys,

I did this Akku calibration yesterday. Since fully charging I’m testing now.
With the similar lemfo les1 like kw88.

I have insert a SIM and have GSM 3G on.
Bluetooth, GPS wlan and mobile data are off.

Wrist activate is of too.

I closed all Backround Apps and did a cleaning.

I turned on my watch at 9 o’clock with 100 %.
Now it is 11 o’clock and Akku shows 100%

I don’t now yet, what the watch is doing at 20 % (before I did calibration it often shut down by 20 %)

I copy this text to lemfo les1 "energy saving -----"too and will write my experiences there.

Yeah there is definitely something wrong with the battery statistics reported…  I’ve been testing my KW88 in a low power mode >> Power Save On, screen brightness on low, all sensors off etc… the battery stats will report the same number for a long time then jump down… I had done a battery calibration etc before starting this test.  The good news is the watch lasted more than a week… but less that the 15 days predicted based on an original estimate of using 3% of battery life per day.  Here are my results

Date         Time         Battery %     % Change

5/9/2017       9:00AM    100.00%

5/10/2017     9:00AM     91.00%     -9.00%

5/11/2017     9:00AM     91.00%      0.00%

5/12/2017     9:00AM     90.00%     -1.00%

5/13/2017     9:00AM     90.00%      0.00%

5/14/2017     9:00AM     65.00%     -25.00%

5/15/2017     9:00AM     65.00%      0.00%

5/16/2017     9:00AM     64.00%     -1.00%

5/17/2017     9:00AM     64.00%      0.00%

5/18/2017     9:00AM     0.00%     -64.00%

Not sure whether the battery just died today or whether the watch crashed… the built-in battery statistics screen looked odd…(see picture attached)

I’m going to try an app like AccuBattery to see if I can get better info.

Thanks - but that setting was already off on my watch.  I’m generally pleased that I can get long battery life out of the watch when necessary, however, the battery statistics, event after running an app like  AccuBattery are just wrong… not sure how to resolve this (I’m resisting a full reset at this point.)  Right now the battery has been reporting 87% for 2.5 days and Accubattery says in sleep mode, the battery will last another 214 hrs!  I don’t think that is realistic LOL!!!

Read this guys

The reality is you have to keep clearing google data after you have used playstore etc . Read link above . It really works and if problem returns " do it again "

Thankyou

My kww88 …after go through the forum …i try to note my watch battry timing …charged it 4 am to 99% and now its 5:46pm and battry left 78%…so its good for my watch i first charged fully battry when i open it form the box and drained fully …2 tes i repet this prcedure now battry is good …but not how long it will b…:sweat_smile::laughing:

I found out that some watch face use less energy. I accidentally choose a non animated watchface, at about 72 hours later, my watch showing 31% (I charged it to 91% prior to this).
