It was this forum but it was the older KW88.
We made it work with a custom made firmware that did not come from KingWear.
It was a cooperation between me and the firmware team that produce the firmware for KingWear - and many other brands.

Anyway, I am asking them to see if we can produce another custom version for this model with the new screen.

If they are too busy I will see if I can get the time to do it.

I’ll let you know how it goes.

its the same 512 4gb have the same problem also

Link for the preloader for that watch model is on page 10 of this tread (10th post on 10th page). Remember to remove checksum files after changing the preloader in the firmware folder.

Ok, replace the pre-loader file in the firmware pack I sent you last N With the attached file. Unzip and copy into FW folder and replace the existing one....

Flash again. As I said - if flash tool does not recognise the watch try pressing power button while flashing or disconnect and re-connect the battery.

Hi there.
My KW88 was functioning OK with KW88-CS1-B-GSM-PHT-20171111 but I tryed to flash KW88_CS1_OHH_B_GSM_PHT_20180821 to see if there was some improvements, specially the battery lasting time.
Tryed first with Download only (not really, had to do Format + Download because of error) and then with Firmware upgrade.
Both flash OK but in both the clock starts but screen remains black (I hear the sound of clock starting).
Is this normal behaviou, do you have some idea how to recover? Firmware KW88_CS1_OHH_B_GSM_PHT_20180821 is just to correct the inverted screen problem? Is has no other improvements?
I can flash back to KW88-CS1-B-GSM-PHT-20171111 and clock starts and work fine.
Thanks in advance for all enlightment you could offer.
