Kospet Prime 2 Official support UPDATED!

Guys any1 got idea why my Kospet prime 2 camera shows black screen?

If you expect help, more information is needed. what have you done before? Is only the screen dead or the rest of the watch too? does the sound work? All important information…

All camera function works sounds everything just camera shows black((((

Have you already tried a factory reset?

Camera’s buttons everything shows except camera’s screen. Flashed to original firmware didn’t worked

It sounds like a hardware defect. So- it worked initially and eventually stopped working?

I’m not sure that I understood your answer correct. Have you already tried a factory reset? Flashing the firmware would also rule out a software problem. Did you mean to say that this didn’t help? Or did you want to say that you didn’t manage to flash the firmware?

So we can rule out a software problem if you

  1. flashed the firmware or

  2. did a factory reset.

Flashed firmware checked camera still the same

In this case it’s a hardware problem. For sure.

@Armen_Tangyan yep, return it if you have not had it too long.
@G1NT0N1C is correct and this is a hardware fault.
It is possibly a problem with the ribbon cable that joins the camera sensor to the main board inside the watch.

Personally I would not return it because I never use the camera, but if it is important for you - email after-sales@kospet.com or go to the Kospet site and message them with proof of purchase date etc…

Never needed camer but I hate when something works incomplete but anyway thnx for advice

It could be a defective battery.
Unfortunately it is likely out of warranty now but you can try to contact after-sales@kospet.com or ask on their Aliexpress store.

The latest firmware for the Prime 2 is at the top of this thread.
I’m guessing that you have stock firmware on your watch because there is no such version as 1.4.

Yep, it is :+1:
V2.2 was the last to be made and no future versions will be made due to the model being end of life for Kospet, 8 months ago.

Hello, has anyone had an issue where the power button doesn’t press properly, as though there is gunk inside that won’t let it push down. any idea on how to clean it?
