Hi…

I came across this in the play store, not sure if it has the software necessary to enable Bluetooth calling or text messaging from the watch to a phone.

I haven’t been able to root my watch.

Install both apps, one to write the stack (requires root) the other to enable functionality.

Anyone know anything about if this will help?

SIM access profile (SAP) allows a phone to use the SIM of another phone via Bluetooth. This is mainly used by car phones which can use the SIM of your mobile phone. Unfortunately it doesn’t help us to get BT calling on our smartwatches.

Hmm… There has to be a way, an easy way…

My car radio can Bluetooth dial contacts from my phone… Even send texts…

It can’t be that difficult in my opinion.

Actually it’s not that easy.
Phone to phone is completely different to pairing your car or headset.
There is a thread about it at the top of this forum.

I wonder if anyone has tried tablet talk from play store?

I hear it can initiate sms and dial calls from tablets through a cellphone…

Might be what we need to remotely control our cellphone with the watch.

It won’t install. It says: “App not installed. The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name.”

However, I did never install this apk before!?

maybe it will work if you have root access and remove the stock call app and message app
