I've just uninstalled the freeware version of Floating Toucher because it drained my D5 battery

X1 after 21.0 hours 78%
X5 after 21.0 hours 81%

FINAL BATTERY TEST RESULTS:

D5: 10.5hr/90% - 14.5hr/88% - 20.5hr/82% - 22.5hr/81% - 25.0hr/79%

X1: 4.0hr/100% - 10.0hr/90% - 12.0hr/87% - 14.5hr/85% - 21.0hr/78% - 25.0hr/74%

X5: 4.0hr/100% - 10.0hr/100% - 12.0hr/94% - 14.5hr/89% - 21.0hr/81% - 25.0hr/74%

More to come! Will do a series while wearing the watches but only looking at time to note battery power level. Pedometer should be active accumulating step information. We’ll see what else changes.

@SmartWatch_Ticks I plotted the results on a simple graph… and posted it in, General Discussion…

Thanks Andrew!

I’ve run out a few more numbers, working hard — in my sleep (like you). Here are my final results in this static mode. I’ve got a Santa snowflake watch face waiting for me to play with now, so I’ll start the ‘wear’ test later today. Good idea doing a plot of the data. Dramatic difference between paid and free version of FT. Later I want to test two news services I like to read on the watch and see how the article retrieval affects battery life. Should be much like ads, but it might not be as bad as it is less frequent pushes. I don’t think we will ever run out of things to do on these watches!
